Marina Karlsson-Bailey

Marina is a highly experienced Chartered and HCPC Registered Physiotherapist with over 15 years experience working in the NHS, specialising in Musculoskeletal conditions and Women's Health. She has over 10 years experience in treating PGP / SPD (Pelvic Girdle Pain / Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction) and postnatal conditions such as Rectus Diastasis. Marina is an APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) qualified Pilates Instructor for Ante- and Postnatal Pilates. She also runs Pilates classes for back pain and other musculoskeletal conditions.


After graduating in 1992 from the Karolinska Institute (world-renowned medical university and home to the Nobel Assembly), Stockholm, Sweden, Marina gained a wide experience in many fields of Physiotherapy ie Paediatrics, Neurology, Orthopaedics and Respiratory care, working at the Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden. An interest in different cultures and travelling took her to the U.A.E. from 1998 to 2001, where she was working in a team of multi-national Physiotherapists, in one of Abu Dhabi's main hospitals. Since 2001 she has been focusing on Musculoskeletal- and Women's Health conditions in the United Kingdom.
